Immortalized Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC)

Description Immortalized Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (IM-HUVEC) were developed by immortalizing primary human umbilical vein endothelial cells with SV40 Large T antigen. Immortalized human HUVEC were controlled passaging side by side with the primary cells. Primary cells go into senescence after the 5th passage while the SV40‐tranduced cells go beyond 30 passages. This immortalized cell line has been characterized by: CD31 expression VWF expression tubule formation. Each vial of Immortalized HUVEC contains more than 1 million viable cells. We also offer optimized medium and reagents for the growth of IM-HUVEC which are quality tested together and guaranteed to give maximum performance as a global solution for in vitro IM-HUVEC culture.
