Immortalized Human Bronchial Epithelial Cell Line

Description Immortalized Human Bronchial Epithelial Cell Line (IM-HBEpiC) was developed by immortalizing primary human bronchial epithelial cells with SV40 Large T antigen. The immortalized cells were controlled passaging side by side with the primary cells. Primary cells go into senescence after the 3rd passage while the SV40‐tranduced cells go beyond 30 passages. Each vial of IM-HBEpiC contains more than 1 million viable cells. We also offer optimized medium and reagents for the growth of IM-HBEpC. These reagents were quality tested together with the cells. They are guaranteed to give maximum performance as a global solution for in vitro IM-HBEpiC culture.
