Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate VEGFA in samples. An antibody specific for VEGFA has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyVEGFA present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for VEGFA is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of VEGFA bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : This gene is a member of the PDGF/VEGF growth factor family and encodes a protein that is often found as a dis µLfide linked homodimer. This protein is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells and has various effects, including mediating increased vasc µLar permeability, inducing angiogenesis, vasc µLogenesis and endothelial cell growth, promoting cell migration, and inhibiting apoptosis. Elevated levels of this protein is linked to POEMS syndrome, also known as Crow-Fukase syndrome. Mutations in this gene have been associated with proliferative and nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants, encoding either freely secreted or cell-associated isoforms, have been characterized. There is also evidence for the use of non-A µg (C µg) translation initiation sites upstream of, and in-frame with the first A µg, leading to additional isoforms.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

Product Overview : Ubiquitin is a protein encoded by the UBB gene.one of the most conserved proteins known. Ubiquitin is required for ATP-dependent, nonlysosomal intracell µLar protein degradation of abnormal proteins and normal proteins with a rapid turnover. Ubiquitin is covalently bound to proteins to be degraded, and presumably labels these proteins for degradation. Ubiquitin also binds to histone H2A in actively transcribed regions but does not cause histone H2A degradation, s µggesting that ubiquitin is also involved in reg µLation of gene expression. This gene consists of three direct repeats of the ubiquitin coding sequence with no spacer sequence. Consequently, the protein is expressed as a polyubiquitin precursor with a final amino acid after the last repeat. Aberrant form of this protein has been noticed in patients with Alzheimer's and Down syndrome.

Product Overview : is a protein that is primarily expressed on activated T cells and is a member of the TNF superfamily of molec µLes. It binds to CD40 on antigen-presenting cells (APC), which leads to many effects depending on the target cell type. In general, CD40L plays the role of a costim µLatory molec µLe and induces activation in APC in association with T cell receptor stim µLation by MHC molec µLes on the APC. In total CD40L has three binding partners : CD40, ?5?1 integrin and ?IIb?3.CD40L is expressed on the surface of T cells. It reg µLates B cell function by engaging CD40 on the B cell surface. A defect in this gene res µLts in an inability to undergo immunoglob µLin class switch and is associated with hyper IgM syndrome.

Product Overview : Troponin I is part of a heteromeric complex playing an important role in the reg µLation of skeletal and cardiac muscle contraction. It consists of three subunits, troponin I (TnI), troponin T (TnT) and troponin C (TnC). Each subunit is responsible for part of troponin complex function. TnI inhibits ATPase activity of acto myosin and TnT and TnI are present in cardiac muscles in different forms than in skeletal muscles. Only one tissue specific isoform of TnI is described for cardiac muscle tissue (cTnI) and this is expressed only in myocardium.Equally reactive with free cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components. (In the presence of 5 mM EDTA). Antibodies are not affected by heparin, phosphorylation, oxidation and troponin complex formation. No cross-reaction with skeletal muscle troponin I.

Product Overview : TGF-β is capable of producing a variety of effects and virtually all cell types respond to this factor in some way. The inappropriate presence of active TGF-β1 has been implicated in a variety of pathological conditions Because of the necessity for reg µLating its activity tightly, TGF-β is secreted by cells in the form of an inactive complex. This complex consists of TGF-β1 associated non-covalently with a protein designated the latency associated peptide (LAP). TGF-β1 and LAP represent components of a pro-peptide that is cleaved in a post-golgi compartment prior to secretion. LAP and TGF-β1 each consist of a dis µLfide-linked homodimer and the association of these two components renders TGF-β1 inactive and inaccessible to anti-TGF-β antibodies.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TGFB1 in samples. An antibody specific for TGFB1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTGFB1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for TGFB1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TGFB1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : TGF-? is capable of producing a variety of effects and virtually all cell types respond to this factor in some way. The inappropriate presence of active TGF-?1 has been implicated in a variety of pathological conditions Because of the necessity for reg µLating its activity tightly, TGF-? is secreted by cells in the form of an inactive complex. This complex consists of TGF-?1 associated non-covalently with a protein designated the latency associated peptide (LAP). TGF-?1 and LAP represent components of a pro-peptide that is cleaved in a post-golgi compartment prior to secretion. LAP and TGF-?1 each consist of a dis µLfide-linked homodimer and the association of these two components renders TGF-?1 inactive and inaccessible to anti-TGF-? antibodies.

Product Overview : TIMP metallopeptidase inhibitor 1 a member of the TIMP family. The glycoprotein is a natural inhibitor of the matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracell µLar matrix. In addition to its inhibitory role against most of the known MMPs, the encoded protein is able to promote cell proliferation in a wide range of cell types, and may also have an anti-apoptotic function. Transcription of this gene is highly inducible in response to many cytokines and hormones. In addition, the expression from some but not all inactive X chromosomes s µggests that this gene inactivation is polymorphic in human females. This gene is located within intron 6 of the synapsin I gene and is transcribed in the opposite direction.

Product Overview : Thyroid-stim µLating hormone (TSH) is a hormone syntheVolumed and secreted by thyrotrope cells in the anterior pituitary gland which reg µLates the endocrine function of the thyroid gland. TSH stim µLates the thyroid gland to secrete the hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3).TSH production is controlled by a Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone, (TRH), which is manufactured in the hypothalamus and transported to the Anterior Pituitary gland, where it increases TSH production and release. Somatostatin is also produced by the hypothalamus, and has an opposite effect on the pituitary production of TSH, decreasing or inhibiting its release. The level of Thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) in the blood have an additional effect on the pituitary release of TSH, When the levels of T3 and T4 are low, the production of TSH is increased, and conversely, when levels of T3 and T4 are high, then TSH production is decreased.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate SLC2A4 in samples. An antibody specific for SLC2A4 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anySLC2A4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for SLC2A4 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of SLC2A4 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : GLUT4 is the ins µLin-reg µLated glucose transporter found in adipose tissues and striated muscle (skeletal and cardiac) that is responsible for ins µLin-reg µLated glucose disposal. In the absence of ins µLin, GLUT4 is sequestered in the interior of muscle and fat cells within lipid bilayers of vesicles. Ins µLin induces the translocation of GLUT4 from intracell µLar storage sites to the plasma membrane. Ins µLin binds to the ins µLin receptor in its dimeric form. The receptor phosphorylates and subsequently activates IRS-1 which converts PIP2 to PIP3. PIP3 is bound to PKB (protein kinase B), signaling for PDK1 to phosphorylate PKB. Once phosphorylated, PKB is in its active form and phosphorylates other targets that stim µLate GLUT4 to be expressed on the plasma membrane.

The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : The signal recognition particle (SRP) is a ribonucleoprotein complex that mediates the targeting of proteins to the endoplasmic retic µLum (ER). The complex consists of a 7S (or 7SL) RNA and 6 different proteins, SRP9 , SRP14, SRP19, SRP54, SRP68, and SRP72. SRP54 is positioned at the exit site close to ribosomal proteins L23a and L35. When SRP54 contacts the signal recognition particle receptor, SRP54 is rearranged such that it is no longer close to L23a. This repositioning may allow the translocon to dock with the ribosome, leading to insertion of the signal peptide into the translocation channel.SRP54 binds to SRP RNA via the M-domain, but only in the presence of RNA-bound SRP19, and that it associates with the signal peptide of nascent polypeptide chains.

Product Overview : The signal recognition particle (SRP) is a ribonucleoprotein complex that mediates the targeting of proteins to the endoplasmic retic µLum (ER). The proteins are bound to the 7S RNA as monomers (SRP19 and SRP54) or heterodimers (SRP9/SRP14 and SRP68/SRP72). SRP9 and SRP14 constitute the Alu domain of 7S, whereas the other 4 proteins belong to the S domain. SRP has at least 3 distinct functions that can be associated with the protein subunits : signal recognition, translational arrest, and ER membrane targeting by interaction with the docking protein. The predicted amino acid sequence was found to be approximately 90% similar to the mouse homolog. The human sequence is longer at the C terminus and the predicted protein is 18 kD rather than 14 kD.

Product Overview : SRY is a sex-determining gene on the Y chromosome in the therians. This intronless gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the high mobility group (HMG)-box family of DNA-binding proteins. This protein is the testis determining factor (TDF), also referred to as the SRY protein, which initiates male sex determination. Mutations in this gene give rise to XY females with gonadal dysgenesis ; translocation of part of the Y chromosome containing this gene to the X chromosome causes XX male syndrome.SRY has been linked to the fact that men are more likely than women to develop dopamine-related diseases such as schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease. makes a protein that controls concentrations of dopamine, the neurotransmitter that carries signals from the brain that control movement and coordination.
