Interferon stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase. polymorphism: Two forms exist; alpha-4a (shown here) and alpha-4b. They seem to be equally abundant. similarity: Belongs to the alpha/beta interferon family.
