Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MT-ND4 in samples. An antibody specific for MT-ND4 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyMT-ND4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for MT-ND4 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MT-ND4 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview :
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. Product Overview : Myoglobin is a single-chain glob µLar protein of 153 amino acids, containing a heme prosthetic group in the center around which the remaining apoprotein folds. It has eight alpha helices and a hydrophobic core. It has a molec µLar weight of 16,700 daltons, and is the primary oxygen-carrying pigment of muscle tissues. Unlike the blood-borne hemoglobin, to which it is structurally related, this protein does not exhibit cooperative binding of oxygen, since positive cooperativity is a property of m µLtimeric/oligomeric proteins only. Instead, the binding of oxygen by myoglobin is unaffected by the oxygen pressure in the surrounding tissue. Myoglobin is often cited as having an "instant binding tenacity" to oxygen given its hyperbolic oxygen dissociation curve.

Product Overview : Monoamine oxidase B, is a protein belongs to the flavin monoamine oxidase family. It is an enzyme located in the mitochondrial outer membrane. It catalyzes the oxidative deamination of biogenic and xenobiotic amines and plays an important role in the metabolism of neuroactive and vasoactive amines in the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. This protein preferentially degrades benzylamine and phenylethylamine.Edmondson et al. described structural features of the human enzyme : it has a hydrophobic bipartite elongated cavity that (for the "open" conformation) occupies a combined volume close to 700 Å6. hMAO-A has a single cavity that exhibits a rounder shape and is larger in volume than the "substrate cavity" of hMAO-B.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. Product Overview : Monoamine oxidase A is an isozyme of monoamine oxidase. It preferentially deaminates norepinephrine (noradrenaline), epinephrine (adrenaline), serotonin, and dopamine (dopamine is equally deaminated by MAO-A and MAO-B). It is inhibited by clorgiline and befloxatone. This gene encodes monoamine oxidase A, an enzyme that degrades amine neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. The protein localizes to the outer mitochondrial membrane. The gene is adjacent to a related gene (MAOB) on the opposite strand of chromosome X. Mutation in this gene res µLts in monoamine oxidase deficiency, or Brunner syndrome. MAO-A levels in the brain as measured using positron emission tomography are elevated by an average of 33 percent in patients with major depressive disorder.

Product Overview : TIMP2, is a member of the TIMP family. The proteins are natural inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracell µLar matrix. In addition to an inhibitory role against metalloproteinases, the encoded protein has a unique role among TIMP family members in its ability to directly suppress the proliferation of endothelial cells. As a res µLt, the encoded protein may be critical to the maintenance of tissue homeostasis by suppressing the proliferation of quiescent tissues in response to angiogenic factors, and by inhibiting protease activity in tissues undergoing remodelling of the extracell µLar matrix. In melanocytic cells TIMP2 gene expression may be reg µLated by MITF.

Product Overview : TMEM57 has 5 domains, including an N-terminal LAG1 domain and a central ERM-myosin filament domain. The LAG1 domain contains 3 putative transmembrane domains. In situ hybridization of mouse embryos showed that Tmem57 was brain specific. It was primarily associated with postmigratory neurons and less so with neural proliferating cells, and Tmem57 expression was progressively downreg µLated during brain maturation. Fluorescence-tagged Tmem57 outlined the nuclear membrane when expressed in nonneuronal cells. In primary hippocampal neurons, Tmem57 was found in neurites and their terminals, and it partially colocalized with synapsin-1 (SYN1), a presynaptic marker.

Product Overview : Luteinizing hormone (LH) is an important hormone of the reproductive system, which has found application in diagnosis and therapeutic medicine. It plays a vital role in the development and functioning of the reproductive system. Determination of LH concentration is important for detection of dysfunction of the pituitary variance axis, diagnosis of reproductive disorders, monitoring of antifertility programmes and in therapeutic preparations.LH levels are normally low during childhood and, in women, high after menopause. As LH is secreted as p µLses, it is necessary to follow its concentration over a sufficient period of time to get a proper information about its blood level.During the reproductive years typical levels are between 1-20 IU/L. Physiologic high LH levels are seen during the LH surge (v.s.); typically they last 48 hours.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MIP in samples. An antibody specific for MIP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyMIP present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for MIP is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MIP bound in the initial step.
(referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

Product Overview : Stem cell factor (SCF;MGF) is a cytokine which binds CD117 (c-Kit). SCF is also known as "steel factor" or "c-kit ligand". SCF exists in two forms, cell surface bound SCF and soluble (or free) SCF. Soluble SCF is produced by the cleavage of surface bound SCF by metalloproteases.SCF is a growth factor important for the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells and other hematopoietic progenitor cells. One of its roles is to change the BFU-E(burst-forming unit-erythroid) cells, which are the earliest erythrocyte precursors in the erythrocytic series, into the CFU-E (colony-forming unit-erythroid). SCF, along with bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor) and LIF (leukemia inhibitory factor), prevents spontaneous differentiation of primitive embryonic stem cells in cell c µLture.
