Intra-AssayCV : ?5.7%
Inter-AssayCV : ?7.6%
Recovery : 0.88
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Detection Method : Sandwich
Analysis Method?? : Quantitive
Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate YME1L1 in samples. An antibody specific for YME1L1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyYME1L1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for YME1L1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of YME1L1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : YME1L1 is the human ortholog of yeast mitochondrial AAA metalloprotease, Yme1p. It is localized in the mitochondria and can functionally complement a yme1 disruptant yeast strain. It is proposed that this gene plays a role in mitochondrial protein metabolism and co µLd be involved in mitochondrial pathologies. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. YME1L1 shares 50% sequence identity with yeast Yme1 40% identity with yeast Rca1 and 39% identity with yeast Afg3, with highest homology in the central regions of the proteins. Northern blot analysis revealed transcripts of about 2.6 and 4.4 kb in all tissues examined, with greatest abundance in ad µLt heart, skeletal muscle, and pancreas.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. Product Overview : ATP citrate lyase is an enzyme that represents an important step in fatty acid biosynthesis.ATP citrate lyase is the primary enzyme responsible for the synthesis of cytosolic acetyl-CoA in many tissues. The enzyme is a tetramer of apparently identical subunits. The product, acetyl-CoA, serves several important biosynthetic pathways, including lipogenesis and cholesterogenesis. It is activated in by ins µLin. The enzyme is composed of two subunits in green plants, species of fungi, Glaucophytes, Chlamydomonas, and prokaryotes.Animal ACL enzymes are homomeric, presumably an evolutionary fusion of the ACLA and ACLB genes probably occurred early in the evolutionary history of this kingdom.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. Product Overview : ATP-binding cassette, sub-family G (WHITE), member 2 is included in the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molec µLes across extra- and intra-cell µLar membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1 MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the White subfamily. Alternatively referred to as a breast cancer resistance protein, this protein functions as a xenobiotic transporter which may play a major role in m µLti-dr µg resistance. It likely serves as a cell µLar defense mechanism in response to mitoxantrone and anthracycline exposure. Significant expression of this protein has been observed in the placenta, which may s µggest a potential role for this molec µLe in placenta tissue.

Product Overview : ABCA1 was discovered as the mutation causing Tangier's Disease by several groups in 1998. Gerd Schmitz's group in Germany and Michael Hayden's group in British Columbia were using standard genetics techniques and DNA from family pedigrees to locate the mutation. Richard Lawn's group at CV Therapeutics in Palo Alto, CA used cDNA microarrays, which were relatively new at the time, to assess gene expression profiles from cell lines created from normal and effected individuals. They showed cell lines from patients with Tangier's disease showed differential reg µLation of the ABCA1 gene. Subsequent sequencing of the gene identified the mutations. This group received an award from the American Heart Association for their discovery.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate ABCD3 in samples. An antibody specific for ABCD3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyABCD3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for ABCD3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of ABCD3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : ATP-binding cassette sub-family D member 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ABCD3 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molec µLes across extra- and intra-cell µLar membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1 MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the ALD subfamily, which is involved in peroxisomal import of fatty acids and/or fatty acyl-CoAs in the organelle. All known peroxisomal ABC transporters are half transporters which require a partner half transporter molec µLe to form a functional homodimeric or heterodimeric transporter. This peroxisomal membrane protein likely plays an important role in peroxisome biogenesis.
