After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for SLC3A2 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of SLC3A2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : SLC3A2 is a member of the solute carrier family and encodes a cell surface, transmembrane protein with an alpha-amylase domain. The protein exists as the heavy chain of a heterodimer, covalently bound thro µgh di-s µLfide bonds to one of several possible light chains. It associates with integrins and mediates integrin-dependent signaling related to normal cell growth and tumorigenesis. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.Expressed ubiquitously in all tissues tested with highest levels detected in kidney, placenta and testis and weakest level in thymus. During gestation, expression in the placenta was significantly stronger at f µLl-term than at the mid- trimester stage.

Product Overview : PTPLA contains a characteristic catalytic motif of the protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs) family.
